  • Mick HollyerMick Hollyer
    Mick became a partner in 1971 and is the firm's Senior Partner. He has had many years' experience providing a full range of legal services to a large number of corporate entities ranging from large publicly listed and other companies and joint ventures to medium and small businesses. He is Honorary Solicitor for a number of charitable and sporting organisations. TOP
  • Graham AllanGraham Allan
    Graham obtained his LL.B (Hons) in 1973 at Auckland before moving to Pitt & Moore in late 1973 where he became a partner in 1979. Graham specialises in Litigation and Resource Management and is a trained mediator. He is also honorary Solicitor for various charitable organisations. TOP
  • David FarnsworthDavid Farnsworth
    David is particularly involved in Estates, Trusts, Commercial and Company work and is a Notary Public. He was educated at Canterbury University where he graduated LL.B After being admitted in 1968 he worked in Christchurch until he joined Pitt & Moore in 1981. He became a partner in 1982. David has a range of cultural and sporting interests. TOP
  • Dennis CreedDennis Creed
    Dennis works in Property Law, Finance, Employment, Commercial and Business Law and is a trained mediator. He was educated at Victoria University graduating with an LL.B He has been with Pitt & Moore since 1980. Dennis is a member of the Nelson District Law Society Executive. He is involved in charitable and community organisations including St John and the Rescue Helicopter Trust. TOP
  • Rob LaneRob Lane
    Rob graduated from Canterbury University with an LL.B in 1979 and gained a Postgraduate Diploma in Accounting from Victoria University in 1981. He worked for a major Wellington firm prior to joining Pitt & Moore in 1987, becoming a partner in 1988. Rob specialises in Commercial Property, Commercial, Company, Employment and Taxation law. He has a keen interest in music and enjoys running and other outdoor activities. TOP
  • Glen MarshallGlen Marshall
    Glen graduated from Canterbury University in 1979 and was admitted to the bar in 1980, initially working in Nelson for three years. For the next 20 years Glen worked in Hamilton for the most part as a Barrister sole specialising in criminal law. In 2002 Glen was appointed Crown Solicitor for Tasman and is responsible for conducting work on behalf of the Crown in the Nelson/Blenheim region. TOP
  • Janine BonifantJanine Bonifant
    Janine graduated from Victoria University, Wellington with a BA, LL.B in 1993. She commenced work in Taranaki and gained experience in general litigation work. Janine gained further experience in criminal defence and family litigation in the Waikato prior to commencing practice as a Crown prosecutor. Janine joined Pitt & Moore in 2002, becoming a partner in 2006. She continues to work as a Crown prosecutor. TOP
  • Mick HollyerSiân Holden
    Siân specialises in commercial property, commercial, and company law. She holds a BSc (1985) majoring in Microbiology and an LL.B (1989) from Auckland University, and worked initially after finishing law school with the corporate law firm Hesketh Henry in Auckland. She joined Pitt & Moore in 1992, becoming a partner in 2008. Siân has managed to successfully combine a busy practice with extensive overseas travel. Besides travel Siân enjoys running, tramping and all aspects of music. TOP
  • Mike McMellonMike McMellon
    Mike graduated from Victoria University in 1988. He worked for Chapman Tripp (Wellington) for 5 years before leaving for the UK. Mike spent 9 years in England working as Senior Manager (Legal) for a large telecommunications network. On returning to New Zealand he joined Pitt & Moore making Partner in 2008. Mike specialises in Commercial/Commercial Property/Company Law. He has also developed a strong Immigration practice. Mike is Chair of the Nelson Tasman Chamber of Commerce Regional Issues Group and is a Member of the New Zealand Association for Migration and Investment.TOP

  • Craig StevensonCraig Stevenson
    Craig graduated from Waikato University with an LL.B in 1996. He worked initially in Taranaki in a general practice with an emphasis on Employment and Criminal litigation before returning to the Waikato where he worked as a Crown Prosecutor. Craig joined Pitt & Moore in February 2005 and continues to work as a Crown Prosecutor. Craig has a wide range of sporting interests including cricket, golf and coaching rugby for Nelson College and Nelson Bays Rugby Union. TOP

  • Hugh Boyd-WilsonHugh Boyd-Wilson
    Hugh graduated from Victoria University in 2006 with a LL.B and BA majoring in Mathematics. He was admitted to the bar shortly before joining Pitt and Moore in June 2006. Hugh works as a Crown Prosecutor. Hugh is a keen sportsman, taking part in a variety of sports, particularly tennis and rugby. TOP
  • Claire AtkinsClaire Atkins
    Claire graduated from Otago University with a BA (1999) and a Post Graduate Diploma in Arts (2000) majoring in Social Anthropology. She completed her LL.B (2006) at Victoria University and joined Pitt & Moore in 2007 working in the areas of Civil Litigation and Relationship Property. Claire has a keen interest in travel, foreign films and enjoys all activities that the region offers. TOP
  • Carol ZhongCarol Zhong
    Carol graduated from Waikato University with an LL.B in 2007. She initially worked for the Weathertight Homes Tribunal in Auckland for one year and was admitted to the bar shortly before joining Pitt & Moore in June 2008. Carol works in the areas of commercial/company law and immigration law. Carol has a keen interest in arts, foreign films and international cuisine. TOP
  • Sarah MacdonaldSarah MacDonald
    Sarah works as part of the Crown Prosecution team. She holds a BSc (1999) majoring in Genetics and Biochemisty from Massey University and an LLB(2007) from Canterbury University. She was admitted to the bar shortly after joining Pitt & Moore in 2008. She enjoys travel and the outdoors. TOP

  • Anissa BainAnissa Bain
    Anissa graduated from Victoria University in 1996 with a LLB and BA majoring in linguistics. Anissa worked for six years with a major Wellington firm and a further five years with an Auckland firm before moving to Nelson and joining Pitt & Moore in 2008. Anissa is an experienced general practitioner with an interest in all matters associated with wine law. TOP

  • Alain SwainAlain Swain
    Alain commenced his legal career in Christchurch in 1970 and was admitted as a Fellow of the NZ Institute of Legal Executives in 1978. Alain practised in Taranaki for a period before arriving in Nelson in 1981. He is a member of the Property Law Section of the NZLS and practices in all areas of property and business law with a speciality in land development and associated issues and 'problem solving'. Alain also advises on Trust matters and is a trustee of a number of Charitable Trusts. He joined Pitt & Moore in 2003 when our Richmond Branch opened. Alain enjoys socialising and travel. TOP
