In practice for over 25 years, Sian has an extensive background in all property and commercial matters. She is focussed, commercially minded and knowledgeable.

Whether using her expertise in complex property transactions or negotiating practical commercial solutions, Sian is adept at protecting her clients’ commercial interests.

She is known for her practical approach and keeping things simple for her clients.  

She builds long-standing relationships with her clients, listens to what they say and will quickly distill the crux of an issue. This enables her to provide practical advice tailored to each client. 

Sian was appointed a Notary Public in December 2015, which enables her to assist with execution, certification and authentication of documents for use in foreign legal jurisdictions.

Business Structuring, Advice & Commercial Contracts

Sian advises on all manner of business structuring matters, from simple to complex restructuring work for SMES, large corporates, and Maori organisations.

Sian prepares and advises on the most complicated of contractual arrangements to the most basic of standard terms.

She has also been involved with multi-million dollar transactions relating to business acquisitions.

Commercial Property, Development & Leasing

Sian has extensive experience in relation to commercial property, development, subdivisions and leasing matters from both the tenant and landlord perspective.

Sian has a particular specialty in subdivisions. She regularly advises clients on complex industrial, commercial or residential subdivisions. She has been involved in brown field and green field developments across the Nelson and Tasman region.

Sian has played a pivotal role in her clients’ development team across significant projects throughout the Top of the South and beyond.

Agribusiness and Rural

Sian regularly assists clients in relation to farm sales and acquisitions. She has also been involved in numerous transactions in the wine industry including joint ventures involving vineyards and associated acquisitions of wineries.

Māori Organisations

Sian is a trusted adviser to a number of Māori organisations in the top of the South. She is involved in numerous aspects of these organisations commercial and property based activities.
