As part of the Pitt & Moore’s Inheritance Planning, Trusts and Senior Law teams, Tessa takes the time to get to know her clients and advises them on best options to protect their assets. She is reliable, soft spoken and results-orientated.
Since Tessa was admitted to the bar in 2007, she has worked in legal roles in London and Auckland and now calls Nelson home.
She has a wide range of experience, both here and in the UK, in assisting people of all ages with planning for life changes.
Before coming to Pitt & Moore, Tessa was part of the legal team at Perpetual Guardian in Auckland. She brings this specialist expertise to her clients and is able to effectively guide with decision-making around planning for the future.
Tessa’s core areas of practice are in Inheritance Planning and Senior Law as well as Trusts.
Tessa provides assistance with Wills, Enduring Powers of Attorney and advice on retirement village contracts.
Tessa finds job satisfaction in being able to assist people with making key life decisions. She likes meeting people from diverse backgrounds and she’s up for a challenge.
She is well versed in assisting clients with complex wills, giving them a peace of mind.
Tessa also assist clients with their rest home care applications and residential care subsidy applications. She carefully guides her clients through retirement village contracts, occupational licences and occupational right agreements.
Tessa assists clients with putting together tailored trusts to deliver desired goals to benefit families and/or individuals.
She has broad experience providing assistance with restructuring or winding up of trusts, as well as with complex trusts involving overseas beneficiaries.
