Graham has over 30 years’ dispute resolution (including mediation) and litigation experience, acting for businesses and individuals. He has represented clients in the Family Court, District Court, High Court, Court of Appeal, and Privy Council. His clients get the benefit of his expertise and experience, knowing that he will always advise a course of action which is in their best long-term interest.
Not only does Graham have a detailed understanding of the law as it relates to his clients – be it civil law generally, the Resource Management Act or the Property (Relationships) Act – he has an approach which is empathetic and results focused. While Graham is an experienced court lawyer and litigator (experience which he utilises for his clients benefit), he knows the options that are available to clients and talks them through the cost / benefit / likely outcome of each. He advises clients to get him involved early on in disputes to maximise their chances of avoiding court and getting the best result.
Graham has a proven track record of achieving good commercial outcomes for his company clients, allowing them to get on with running their businesses. Similarly Graham’s clients who come to him for personal or family matters are reassured by his desire to help them reach a conclusion that allows them to get on with their lives.
Favourite tip about the regionGraham enjoys the region’s benefits, whether tramping or out on the water sailing, preferably classic boats off Marahau near the Abel Tasman.
