Led by a dynamic Partner and supported by a close-knit team of lawyers, you would be working across a broad range of complex matters. These practice areas include business advice, business sales and purchases, contracts, and commercial and company law.

Key responsibilities:

  • Provide legal advice and support on commercial matters, including drafting and reviewing contracts, negotiating deals, and advising on business transactions.
  • Conduct legal research to provide guidance on relevant laws and regulations.
  • Participate in the negotiation and drafting of commercial agreements.
  • Manage legal risks associated with business operations, including the development of legal
    strategies to minimize potential risks.
  • Provide support and guidance to internal stakeholders on legal matters.
  • Participate in cross-functional projects and initiatives as required.

Successful applicants will:

  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Actively contribute to a positive and supportive work environment.
  • Uphold the highest ethical standards in all interactions with clients, colleagues, and stakeholders, adhering to the firm’s code of conduct and professional regulations.
  • Possess a Bachelor’s degree in law and be admitted to practice Law in New Zealand.
  • At least four years experience as a commercial lawyer.
  • Exhibit strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.
