Kiri is an Associate in Pitt & Moore's Property team and has been practicing law for more than 10 years. She began her legal career in Christchurch before relocating to Nelson in 2021. Since then, she has continued to build a reputation as a trusted adviser to individuals, families, companies and trustees throughout the region.
Kiri works across a broad range of property, commercial and elder law matters, helping clients navigate some of life's most significant decisions. Whether assisting with a complex property transaction, working with developers to complete a subdivision, conversation of a cross lease title to fee simple, retirement planning or succession arrangements, she focuses on providing practical advice and achieving outcomes that make sense for her clients.

Kiri advises on residential and commercial property sales and purchases, subdivisions, boundary adjustments, and property due diligence. She also has experience assisting clients with Land Accretion Claim applications to Land Information New Zealand and other more complex title-related matters. Having acted on transactions ranging from first homes and investment properties through to farms, forestry blocks, luxury lodges and development projects, Kiri understands the importance of balancing legal requirements with practical and commercial realities.
Retirement Villages & Elder Law
A significant part of Kiri's practice involves advising clients on retirement village matters, including the review of Occupation Right Agreements, transfers within retirement villages and advice on entry and termination of Occupation Agreements and Admission Agreements. She also assists clients with their Enduring Powers of Attorney, helping individuals and families prepare for the future with confidence.
Succession Planning & Asset Protection
