Having grown up in Nelson, Ralph always knew he wanted to return home after gaining life and legal experience elsewhere.

After completing a Law degree at the University of Otago, Ralph moved to Wellington, where he was admitted to the bar and practised for several years before taking the opportunity to return to Nelson.

Ralph has broad experience across residential and commercial property matters, including conveyancing, leasing, residential tenancy issues, and subdivisions. Ralph also advises on commercial contracts, providing practical and commercially focused guidance to help clients achieve their goals.

Ralph prides himself on being approachable, patient and calm. He enjoys working closely with clients and takes particular care to explain complex legal concepts in a clear and digestible way. Helping clients navigate legal issues and achieve positive outcomes is one of the most rewarding aspects of Ralph’s work.
